What with our exciting cleanup of Lake Johnson in Raleigh coming soon, we had to have our friend Dick Leinenkugel return to talk about Canoes for a Cause and what’s happening at the Leinie’s Brewery! Dick fills us in on the origins of Canoes for a Cause and tells us about the great brews coming this year, including summer fave Leinie’s Summer Shandy and the all-new Grapefruit Shandy.

There is so much news we had to really cull it to bring you the best! First stop is ABC showing us a new app that picks your perfect beer through DNA analysis, followed by Forbes on why big beer is struggling in the age of craft beer, and then The Seattle Times tells us to take a hike & have a beer. Next up The USA TODAY reveals that thanks to Savor craft beer is moving on up, while Deadspin opines that growlers destroy beer, The Asheville Citizen-Times reports that Oskar Blues is boosting beer production, and finally Engadget tries the Fizzics countertop 'draught' system.
