Tales From the Cask Craft Beer Podcast

After our big fun with Leinenkugel and the Canoes for a Cause cleanup of Lake Johnson, we head back to the bar to relax with our buddy Mike and get into some mixology with Crispin Cider and a couple of beers! First off we try the special Crispin Venus Reigns Barrel Aged Pear Cider, and then it’s mixology time where we create a Bee Sting with Crispin Original and Bear Republic Racer 5, and a Black Velvet with Crispin and Anchor’s Flying Cloud Stout.

We have a diverse news lineup this week, beginning with PASTE on the Caribbean’s Craft Beer Scene, followed by CNBC reporting that lager is feeling the love from craft breweries, and then the National Journal’s story about the Senate passing a resolution on craft beer as the Patriot Act Expired. Next up Eater reveals how to hunt for "Dusties", Oregon Live celebrates 50 years of Anchor Steam, and we end with The Washington Post on the history of why Americans have such bad taste in beer.

Last week our #caskquiz was “what ABV do you need in a beer to call it sessionable?” and this week we want to know “what beers or ciders have you mixed together with delicious results?”
