Greetings from the sunny lands, it's Tales From the Cask Episode 20!  In this milestone episode we are pleased to have our first returning guest, Eric McCrory from Boston Beer Company.  We share some great stories with Eric and have a great time as always.  We discuss a study that predicts the craft beer boom may be slowing, share or thoughts on Alchemy & Science's acquisition of Coney Island Craft Beer Brands, and share an interesting news story about Purdue University opening up a new craft brew bar on campus.

Eric tells us some of the perks and insights from working inside Boston Beer Company, tells us about his new role as he relocates to Chicago, and talks about the people and beers he'll miss most from North Carolina.  In our feedback segment we answer questions about beer freshness, fun ways to celebrate Raleigh Beer Week, and share a listener's Tweet about Angry Orchards Crisp Apple and Apple Ginger Ciders.

Greetings Caskers! From the sunny lands of North Carolina, it’s episode 19 of Tales From the Cask. In this episode, we have an exclusive interview with beer industry legend, Mike Mazzoni!  Mike gives us a very insightful look at the beer industry, how tastes and business have changed over the last 40 years, where he thinks things are headed, and what is impacting the industry in today’s market.

In our news segment we talk about a German beer price fixing investigation as well as a possible way to avoid getting a beer hangover, and we share an interesting story about how a father and son were kicked out of an Arizona Cardinals game because the son was holding his father’s beer.

Devin tells us how he became involved with the beer world, why he has chosen to sell rather than create beer, what he loves about selling and what an average day is like for him.  Our conversation with Devin includes fascinating historical and technical information about several aspects of the brewing process.
