Tales From the Cask Craft Beer Podcast

Our streak of brewery personnel continues this week as we get a not so chance visit from Glen Selby , "Your Beer Guy" in town from DuClaw Brewing. It was just a bit early to sample beers with Glen and We were also caught up on current offerings from DuClaw so Jenn and Tony decided to keep current tasting Lagunitas Imperial Pils, Starpoint Citra Pale and the rarely seen in NC, Shorts Brewing.

Even with the absence of our beloved news guru Chip We were able to search high and low for our news this week. We start with a hops health report from the pacific northwest from NBC News, from there we profile some influential people to know in Chi-town  with a piece from Michigan Ave Mag. Next we take it to the great beer state of Maine and fawn over a new brew made with live lobsters! Get a great state of the industry report from Entrepreneur magazine and be astonished with the brits as we wrap up with a shocking summary from the Telegraph UK regarding new trends in beverage choices for men about town.

Last week for our #caskquiz we asked you to give us some beer puns!  But not with hops! This week we are asking? “When you go to order a beer at a bar do you look for a style or a specific brewery?”
