Bonjour, nation de fût!  In Episode 44 of Tales From the Cask, Chip has returned from France and has brought some goodies back with him.  You may recall a recent news story we mentioned about Simon Thillou, owner of La Cave à Bulles beer shop in Paris, France.  While Chip was visiting Paris, he stopped by La Cave à Bulles and Simon was was gracious enough to sit down with Chip and talk about the French beer scene.

Chip also brought home some great brews so in this episode we’re sampling 3 beers from the Parisien brewery La Brasserie de la Goutte D’Or: 3 Ter Bière Blonde Triple au Café, Charbonièrre Bière Ambrée, and the insanely great Ernestine IPA.

We share a New York Times news article about stronger beers that are being made to draw in millennials,  the new Miller Fortune commercials featuring Mark Strong, a $1,200 bottle of beer, an interesting article about cask beer, how the California drought is effecting beer production,  and a story about how and why it may be good news that Boston Beer missed on their financial earnings.
