Tales From the Cask Craft Beer Podcast

From the soggy lands of Raleigh, North Carolina, we bring you episode 12 of Tales From the Cask.  In this episode we have a beer and food paring session with Raleigh food blogger extraordinaire, Kristen Baughman.  We look at a whole food course and sample a salad, cheese, main course, and dessert with beers specifically selected to compliment the food ingredients.  We sample Carolina Blonde, Foothills Torch Pilsner, Carolina Nut Brown Ale, Foothills Jade IPA, and Foothills Barrel Aged People's Porter.

Kristen shares her story of how she became a foodie and became a food blogger.  She also shares her story of a 43 day challenge of only eating food and drink raised and produced locally.

In our news segment we share info about beers and breweries in North Korea and South Korea, new laws about home brewing in Mississippi, and some great info from The Beer Institute about the state of beer.

In our feedback segment we talk about mead, hear some appreciation for the IPA history lesson that we had in the last episode, and we talk about taking our show on the road!

We'd love to hear your feedback and brew suggestions!  Call in your feedback by calling 919-502-0280 or email us at talesfromthecask@gmail.com.
